Single vineyard in the Moutere Hills region, these Riesling
grapes are the oldest commercially grown Riesling vines in the
South Island.

Wine Making

2019 was a stand-out vintage for the Nelson region. Starting with
a warm spring, it continued on through a long, hot and very dry
summer and autumn resulting in superb, clean, ripe fruit packed
with intense flavours perfect for making sensational wine.

Tasting Notes

Distinctive nose of crisp green apples, honeysuckle and soft citrus aromas, this wine is full and luscious on the palate abounding in pip fruit and lemon/lime flavours. The sweet fruit characters are balanced by clean acid notes that complete a lovely well rounded drinking sensation. This is a medium / sweet style of Riesling.
